Help with Computer problem

I have a Suunto Stinger which in almost all respects, I find to be a very fine piece of equipment, and an absolute bargain for what I paid for it on e bay bit but it did come without the instructions an I was wondering if anyone out there can help with a bit of a problem that I seem to be having with it.
I never seem to have this problem when I stay shallow, but when I come up after deep dive it flashes that I’m too “slow”, in fact, the alarm goes off sometimes and it tells me that I have to stay out and not do a second dive, not that I ever take any notice of it because I’m sure it’s wrong;.
Anyway, I’ve tried just about everything to come up faster but it keeps on telling me that I’m slow, even in big capitals, “SLOW”, and I can’t think of what to do to come up any faster. I was thinking of inflating my jacket thing and my dry suit at the same time, would holding my breath as well make any difference? When I ran this past a friend once, all he said was “what were you doing when you did your OW”, whatever that stands for.
I was thinking of asking Best Buddy but I believe that he uses a Gekko – has a bigger display screen for his advanced years and failing eyesight.
If anyone could give me the benefit of their hours of experience, I would appreciate it

You could try diving deeper than 3 metres

Hello deepthought

I have a stinger as you know, if you would like to borrow the instructions you can, i could even copy them for you.

To your problem, the computer is not saying you are too SLOW, it is saying SLOW DOWN!!!!Slow the ascent or you could have problems which is why it is advising not to do a second dive.

I hope this answers your query

Perhaps your Stinger is actually very perceptive and not actually implying anything about diving but is trying to tell you about best buddies mental capacity.

Does this only happen when you dive with best buddy??

I also believe ignoring that safety stop garbage and leaping out the water like a salmon may help you in your plight

I've heard some divers use helium, if you put that in your BCD thingy and your suit that would make you go up faster; also if you filled your lungs with it you could shout for help in a squeaky voice!
