Vet and Bandit surveyed the New waters, the sun glinted down onto their manly torso's. 80mtrs max depth whispered Vet in awe of what he was looking at, I know whispered Bandit, Best Buddy popped up with a smile and said.....'Never fear the water my friends, for the water will always be blue or green or ..........never mind' lost track there, sorry' must be my age....as suddenly as he had popped up he went.
Bandit and Vet winked in that manly way, collected their kit and with a slap of their thighs jumped onto the small bus which took them down to the water's edge. The driver explained they were the first civvie's to go down as the Army were training. Vet stated that was'nt a problem as we will show them how its done, MSD way! As soon as the Army lads caught sight of the two Hardened Rufty Tufties they picked up their kit and moved to another pontoon, one of them a scots lad said, here you are lads have this, its nice and comfy. Vet winked and said thanks lads.
Once kitted and all checks made Bandit took a bearing and in they went, Viz around 5 to 8 mtrs, water was a jolly 8 degrees, the advanced dive party of Bandit and Vet descended to 31 mtrs, they hovered over a huge drop off, what a sight to behold, clear water in a new site. They saw many objects, two wessex helicopters, a motorbike, a huge T146 plane, two others not sure what types, two troop carriers and a diving bell. For fun Bandit and Vet entered two or three long tunnels and played a bit of hide and seek. The two dives lasted on average 45 mins each, even a large pike came out to play with our two MSD's. As usual, their Navigational skills were spot on.
After climbing out, they slapped each other on the backs laughing as they did so, the army divers waved and smiled as our two heroes boarded the bus. Great dive site said Bandit, Vet agreed and said we must return. They will be back soon.................
