Fellow members of FFS Diver Training Club, I am taking part in an extreme ironing Guiness World Record attempt at Chepstow on Saturday 10th January with all proceeds going to the R.N.L.I
I have only just got in from the reserve list as people have dropped out and was wondering if people would pledge a small donation or sponsor me. Every penny counts so if its 25p, 50p or even a pound it will all add up.
I will be forwarding a cheque as soon as a collect all monies due payable to the RNLI.
I will post pics on my return to prove my heroic effort
I know its cheeky, but if you dont ask, you dont get.
For all those members that dont use this forum could the main guys JC, Ged, Jim, Paul (@ Wirral Sports), Phil and Geoff pass it on and post any pledges on this thread?
Right chaps, all done and dusted and we are now in the Guiness Book of Records beating the Australians record of 72 divers with 86 divers ironing underwater at the same time.
Many thanks for your pledges to the RNLI, its not too late for token donations, feel free I'm not going to hold you at gun point... lol
For those who have pledged rather than sending loads of PM's I dont mind any donations being left with Paul at Wirral Sports (thats if he doesnt mind, will have to phone him monday or if domebody could text him with my number and ask him to call me Sunday and I'll ask)
Regards and thanks again.
Ian (underwater scuba shooter lol)
How can I insert a pic of my certification to prove I took part in the event?
Met Kirk today out of the blue and he donated £10, a very generous donation mate and much appreciated. As a collective 139 divers we are hoping to raise a total of £10,000 for the RNLI when all donations/sponsors are in. Current total so far £6000
