In addition, Welcome to the Club. Please take time to register on the forum; this is where we put all our important dates for weekend dives, breaks, parties meals etc!! you will find amongst all the banter a wealth of information about diving both here and abroad.
Don't forget to catch up with us at the pool on a Wednesday night and keep your skills fresh. And we're always on hand to offer advice and support about kit, courses, holidays, in fact anything dive related.

A very, very well done to both Laurie and Terry who successfully gained PADI Open Water certification today. What made it so good for us was that you both made it so easy and you really looked as though you were enjoying yourselves!!
We took a few photos during dive 4 ; I'm sure you know who you are!!!
You've now gained a good foundation in scuba diving. If you want to learn more, there's always the Advanced Open Water level, where we can introduce you to deep diving, wrecks, navigation, search and recovery, boat diving, drift diving - the list goes on!
A huge Well Done and very many congratulations to Chris, Ed and Phil who all successfully achieved Open Water status today. Against the elements aswell, it rained, it was cold and the water had dropped to 9 degrees.
However, not only did we get the serious stuff done, we also had a bit of a laugh. Now you know why the mask will flood! Chris's underwater Disco!!! The things you do to keep warm.
Once again, welcome to Wirral Sports Diver Training Club. You are welcome to come and meet other divers that have trained and dive with us, maybe get yourself a dive buddy, should you need one.
