Dear All

I have made a few enquiries to local holiday parks in the Farne Islands area, mindful that the weekend we are looking at is at the start of half term.  Taking into consideration pricings, availability and comfort I think that Bockenfield Holiday Park might be our place of choice. An introductory discount also went down very well!  I've attached a link for you to check them out. As there are 11 of us going so far, I've suggested that we get 3 x 4 berth lodges, which gives us greater flexibility with bathrooms, space etc.  This site is however, 25 miles away from Seahouses where the majority of the diving is, but in comparison to some of the Scotland dive sites, the distance is no greater.

There is one 6 berth available for this weekend and a couple more 4 berths so if there are any more interested parties, please let us know as soon as possible

The price again for a 3 night break, including Saturday and Sunday picnic lunches, Friday nights tea and a BBQ of some description on the Saturday night will cost £65.00.

In the mean time we shall suss out some dives sites to offer you all varied and interesting weekend.

I shall be booking the  3 x 4  berth lodges this week to make this trip a cert.

Those that have put their names down if you could let us have a £40 deposit for the trip on the next club night which will be 6th July 2010, and we'll get more info on the diving.

If anyone else is interested in coming, let us know and we'll put the feelers out for another lodge.  If you don't ask, you don't get!!

Club night came and went and no-one turned up with deposits cry.  Loads turned up with tales of whale sharks and hammerheads but I didn't see any of them in their photos!! wink A good time was had by all as I understand in Sharm.

There's still a couple of spaces left in the lodges we have and if more are interested I understand that there is stil availability for booking more lodges. Just get in touch an well see what we can do.
