Anybody dived Jeddah?

Oh yes me smile.gif and it was awesome, viz better than Sharm and more to see.

Tried a couple of operators but Desert Sea Divers where top quality and value for money, 2 deck dive boat, 3 dives tanks and weights and as much food and drink (non alcoholic) as you can drink.  All this for 300 rials (thats about £50) for a full day out on some of the worlds most virgin of reefs.

1st dive was a 28m dive on "Drop off" why do they call it drop off, well the reef finishes at 28m then drops off to 250m below, awesome, loads to see and if i started naming I'd be here all night. 2nd dive site Anas Reef 25m with some of the most colourful coral and fishes I have seen including 3 large blue spotted stingrays in a group. 3rd dive Siemens reef, not semens reef (s******) or Seamans reef. Shallow 3rd dive to 14m, viz on this was endless.

Got to get more Saudi dives in before I leave for Dubai and more importantly UK for good.  Looks as though my 2 year middle east adventure is coming to an end.. cry.gif

See you all soon

Ian

Sounds pretty good, and the timing couldn't be better.

UK diving is just getting better and better.  Vis better than last year, a bigger RIB than last year and more divers than last year!!!

Just live your life as a series of adventures, each one better but different from the last.

Still got your Capernwray card? smile

KT
