As you all know the dive club has changed hands a few times over the last couple of years and the old faithful FFS ceased to be in 2008 though the name lived on in the website and the forum.

Time changes things and things move on and in so doing Facebook has grown as the huge social network and websites are seen as the mainstay of any good business.

At the club social last night Wirral Diver Training launched the new website. We feel it is a more modern and flexible website and will replace the old FFS website very soon as we cannot add, amend or update it easily or as often as is required. This means the old website will close down, and with it the links to the forum.

The new website is a blog site so there is the ability to respond to posts online; Bandit has already requested a column for his diving exploits in Portland and beyond! We hope to have a link to Facebook and all our mutual friends very soon too.

We shall miss the forum but as traffic here has reduced greatly over the last couple of months we needed to get the message out that we are still meeting up, we're all still diving, we are all active - just maybe not on here.
