Paintball

Have some tickets for paintballing in Skelmersdale, works out at about £6.25 for a full days paintballing plus paintballs (£10 for first 100 ball hopper, £6 after that)

See website www.ipg.uk.net for further information.  Maybe we could book a date sometime in the New Year. Have 8 tickets at that price but if enough interest could get more.

Please let me know if you're interested!

We had a good time last time we did this, count me in probably Steve as well!

Tricia, small point of "netiquette" writing in capitals on a message board is considered to be the equivalent of shouting! Turn your caps lock off PLEASE!

(feel free to shoot me few times for being so pedantic)

DEL

SMALL POINT SWEETIE, I ALWAYS TYPE IN CAPS, AND THIS REFLECTS THE WAY THAT I ACTUALLY AM (QUITE LOUD)

THOSE THAT KNOW ME, KNOW THAT I AM NOT BEING RUDE, NOR SHOUTING AT THEM.

BUT as you asked so nicely, I will make an exception and type in lower cases, just this once.

Typing in upper cases, it's a habit, I type in caps at work, for some reason or other, I find this easier to read, being blind as a bat doesn't really help, and ooooohh, you better watch out del, I used to be quite a good shot with a gun.

So, it seems we have a few potential soldiers.

What is needed now is the "no can do" dates.

I was thinking FEBURARY or MARCH as possible dates. Could be more specific when I know the above.

Lee Quay,

Feb or March is OK for me, if there are any spaces, I would appreciate being considered.

Is there a prize for the

And does the loser get to buy for everyone??

Having been a previous SAS Scuba Soldier before, the prize for the winner is being able to walk to their car unaided with their head held high with a slight smug smile and considerably less bruises than anyone else!

I may be on holiday towards the back end of March!

Well, it has been a few hours now and i have not had any spelling corrections posted. You know who you are! Must be needing beauty sleep!

I think we can come up with a criteria for a prize. Any suggestions?

Li Ki

PS. There will be a count of bruises. A booby prize will be arranged.

Yep. I thought you were after dates for when we couldn't do not a spelling test! I can do Februaruaraury but March might be a bit difficult! Prizes for:

The most hits for the least bullets! (The One - put your credit card away!!!)

The reddest face  through cardiovascular exercise or otherwise!

The biggest bruise in the oddest place!

I should be OK for any dates not too sure about the flexible friend though, it still hasn't recovered from the last sortie (sorry, getting in to the tech lingo).

Anyway, which ever winning side needs me (sorry wants me) I am happy to join.

Right then. After consultation it would seem that 11th of March is it. This was decided on Wednesday at Leasowe. I didn't smoke. Normally, it is the presence of cigarettes that causes this!(you know who you are).
All those who are up for it need to let me know now so I can confirm booking and check availability. It is going to cost you about £17 for kit and paint balls to start. You may find the need to spend much more depending on your technique, hello scubaone! Please post ASAP so we can be sure to get the date we want. Closing date, as such, is 16th Feb.
