I visited Wirral Sports today, pricing up new kit and whilst I was there was given, free of charge, a smashing bit of kit that is a particular safety boon and leaves you completely financially secure. I was, however, completely unaware of the device and so was a complete "Mystery shopper" whilst putting it to the test!

This was put to the test later on that day whilst shopping.  I was in (the) TK Maxx and after selecting some purchases went to queue at the till.  This was where the safety device not only came into it's own and proved to be almost foolproof (and I have to say almost as I was able to get around the complexity of it ever so simply. If I can - Billy Burglar may also be able to) It was when the check out person asked for some money that I found my handbag had been cable tied shut! How could this have happened?  Who could have done this? And why?

Then it all became clear. If I couldn't get to my purse- then neither could anyone else. So I asked for a pair of scissors, cut it off, spent £100's and went home.

Thankfully, my car keys and tunnel fast tag weren't secured in the bag. Otherwise I would never have made it to the shops.

My thanks go to Jim, whose ingenuity almost prevented me from spending money and to Paul at Wirral Sports - supplier of cable tie and of course everyone else who was in on it! Oh how we laughed in T K Maxx!!!
