Anybody fancy a dive this weekend?
A group of us, i.e., John C, KT, Leaky and I have talked about the possibility of Trefor Pier, in North Wales. I've never been so I have no first hand experience of what it is like. Dr Del has been and enjoyed it.

We haven't decided Trefor as a definite destination but it's likely we will be heading off somewhere in any event. Anglesey is another possibility.

Everybody is welcome. If you fancy it please respond on this site and I'll let you know the final details, maybe on Saturday.

Poor old Bandit, he missed Scotland last weekend and now he's set to miss out again. Well, that's what he gets for going to Jamaica.biggrin

Been absent of late due to work and other distractions but i would love to go Sunday - anywhere apart from that muddy hole in Lancashire!!!!

Don't know what you mean about the muddy hole Clown but it'll be good to see you at Penmaenmawr on the way to Anglesey at 8.00 a.m.biggrin

Those of you who didn't go to Anglesey on Sunday missed out. It was a day for real divers not thigh stroking winkers.

Wind: South West veering North 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8
Sea State: rough
Visibility: moderate or good, occasionally poor.

Yeah! Took real divers to brave that lot. Shub, Hawkeye, J.C. and D.C.,Deepthought and me. Gina in charge of keys.
Well done gang; a day to remember.biggrin

Hello all of you ruffty tuffty anglesea diving lot. I am very dissappointed that i missed diving with you all on sunday. the tides were extremely high so i decided to give it a miss. guess i missed out!

Sorry I couldn't make it either, sounds as though surfing and kite flying would have been excellent.....nearly forgot, you went diving!!!!

So how deep did the throng manage to get to and what sealife was on display ??

Can't wait to see the photo's !!!

No problem with the viz and loads to see. Had to be careful depthwise as there were some DM's present!

So the Rufty Tufties went to Anglesey then? I was going to Hilbre but gave up as I heard the tides were that high. And what with the gale force 5-7 too, I'm really surprised that you even managed to stay up right on the beach.  But, I bet you'll have photographic evidence without a winker in sight! Mind you with vis like good to poor, you would never have have known!

Hope my spelling is OK! And hope you all got home in time for the GP! And actually Shub left the club many months ago and re-emerged as J.T. Maybe you were remembering a dive you had many months ago!!!

Here's a handy link.  This is the webcam at Rhosneigr. During daylight hours just log onto to this website and see the beautiful beaches and gentle sea!  And the white horses!!!  Could mean that you save yourself a trip to Anglesey and watch the Grand Prix instead which ultimately means
a) saving of £20 in fuel
2) a lie in
c) A sunday dinner! -or
4) 2 x dives at the Delph or for the less confident Capernwray.
