A number of people seemed less than satisfied with the venue for last year's Christmas night out. In addition, it seems more interesting to consider other venues from time to time.
This year we are looking at the St. Petersburg Restaurant, 7A York Street, Liverpool, close to the heart of the City centre, on Saturday, 15th December, starting at 7.30 p.m.
The cost is £34.95 per person, which includes Christmas Meal and Russian Show, disco, dance and karaoke. I'm sure Bandit and his bride will lead the way with a bit of Russian dancing.
I need to confirm the booking with deposits of £5 per person. Please let me know straight away if you are going as I have to pay the deposit on Monday, 8th of October, that is the coming Monday. If you are going to Dorothea on Sunday I should be most grateful if you would let me have your deposit then.
I will be booking 20 places on Monday so the first 20 to confirm bookings will be guaranteed a place each. I will try to get more if the demand is there but I can't guarantee it.

I will be collecting the balance of your payment on or before the the November club night. The sooner you pay me the better, but no later than the November club night. Thanks. I will need to know what your choice of food is at that time.
Please note that the Christmas Night Out is open to all club Members, regardless of when you joined us, so the sooner you book the more chance you have of being sure of a place.
Margaret and myself will also be pleased to attend the traditional club xmas dinner dance, be it Russian or Japenese, (that would be interesting as I dont suit white make up, it would'nt go with my great tan).
I've booked 27 places for Saturday 15 December, 7.30. p.m.. Anyone who has not already paid the £5 deposit per person, I've paid it on your behalf.
Places are booked for Ged x 2, Jim x 2, Tommy x 2, Phil x 2, Carol x 2 and Kirk who have all paid their deposits. Kirk has paid in full. Other places are booked for: Dave A; Gill ; Derek, Steve O; John M; John C; Steve B and Wendy. All x 2.
You can post your chosen menus when it suits you, but from my point of view the sooner the better. I will need to know by the next club night when the full payment for the meal is due. Cheers
I have simply copied the wording of the menu, as shown on my posting of Oct 25th. This implies that the canapes lososem and kuriniy pashtet will be on the table when we get there. if this suits you, instead of ordering something additional from the starters menu, then that's fine. You will still need to tell me for when I make the order. If you want canapes and kuriniy, and a starter please tell me that too.
Leaky and I would like the following please along with any CANAPES LOSOSEM and KURINIY PASHTET
KREVETKY V APPELSINE X2 DED MOROZ (RUSSIAN SANTA CLAUS) ZHARKOE X2 CHRISTMAS PUDDING X2
Many thanks - will sort you out with the rest of the cash on Wednesday 7th November (next club night) as I understand that we have to pay up in full by then.
KT and LiKi !

Thanks a lot to those of you who have given me your choices from the menu.
It would be very helpful if the rest of you would let me have your choices as soon as possible so that I can sort it out ready for ordering when I complete the final booking.
May I also remind you that I will need your outstanding balances by next Wednesday, that is the next club night. I hope you understand that because of the cost, £34.95 per person, I am not in a position to pay the balance for you so please make sure you pay on time or you will miss out on the night. Cheers.
Just a reminder that we are booked in at the restaurant for 7.30 on Saturday 15 December.
If anybody arrives early it might be a good idea to meet in O'Neils which is on the corner of Church Street and Hanover Street, just a few minutes walk from the restaurant. The St Petersburg is in York Street, off Duke Street, almost in the City centre. If you are travelling by train to Central Station you are almost there. Go out of the main entrance/exit and turn left. Walk about 100 yds, pass the lights and you should enter Hanover Street. O'Neil's, Steves place, is right there. To get to the restaurant keep walking down Hanover Street and Duke Street is about the 5th on the left. York Street is a few yards up on the right.
I've no idea what your travel arrangements are to be, but if you fancy sharing hired transport why not put it on this site. Scubaone, Deepthought and I shared a minibus a couple of years ago from Liverpool to the Leasowe Castle and it worked out at a reasonable price. We booked in advance for going and coming back.
Yes, many thanks Trigsy, a good night out was had by all! The vodkas were great but seemed to have had an amnesiac and narcoleptic effect that lasted pretty much until 7 pm on Sunday!!
