After a couple of enquiries we have been able to secure some places at the Hyperbaric Chamber at BUPA Murrayfield, Barnston, for a dry dive. It's on Sunday 21st November meeting there for 9 am. There is very a interesting lecture about the hyperbaric chamber and how it treats divers and other NHS patients, then there is the opportunity of a dry dive. This enables you to be 'taken down' to around 50 meters in the chamber, see and feel the full effects of diving at depth in a very safe environment. You can bring your dive computer, drop it in the bucket and it will log the dive for you. Also your log book can be credited.

They charge a nominal £25 per person,
