Congratulations to Rob and Adam (Father and Son) who recently completed the Advanced Open Water Course.
Welcome to the Club. You already know about our Club nights so keep coming along. Keep diving with us too, and before long you'll have enough dives to start the Rescue Course if you want to continue you dive education.
Congratulations to Antisober and Tricia on successfully completing the Advanced Open Water course recently. Well done, and welcome to the deep.
We hope, that as you are already established members of FFS Diver Training, you will continue to enjoy diving with us, here and abroad, as part of your continuous diving education.
The next stage in your continuous diving education is the Rescue course. This is a most enjoyable course as well as being a very important one. It prepares you for emergency situations which you may encounter, as well as building confidence in your own diving ability.
BUT HAVEN'T I TOLD YOU ALL THAT I WILL NOT BE DOING THE RESCUE COURSE YET!
I, MYSELF WANT TO GAIN CONFIDENCE IN MYSELF FIRST, BEFORE BECOMING RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMEBODY ELSES SAFETY. I HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH DIVES TO DO THE RESCUE COURSE, IT'S JUST THAT I DON'T WANT TO DO IT.
CONGRATS TO ANTI, ROB & ADAM ALSO ON PASSING THEIR ADVANCED.
Congratulations Mike and Neil on achieving Advanced Open Water diver status at Capernwray last Sunday. Well done both of you. I'm sorry I wasn't with you on Sunday after helping to see you through the OW course and most of the Advanced.
The next stage in your continuous dive education is the Rescue Course. Speak to anyone in the club who has completed the course and I am sure they will tell you that it is most enjoyable. You will be trained to help deal with any diver related emergency which you may encounter. You may also find that your diving skills and confidence in the water improve quite a bit. In addition, you will become an emergency first responder and you may one day find the skills you learn helpful in non diver related accidents and emergencies.
Remember, next Wednesday is the first Wednesday of the month, and, as usual, we will be holding our monthly club night at the Leasowe Castle from about 8.00 p.m. I hope you will come along and get to know other members a bit better. Club night is just an informal get together when you find out what goes on and if any leisure dives are being planned by individuals. You will always be welcome to join in.
You can also keep in touch by ringing up Archer or Scubaone and by using this website. See you Wednesday I hope.
Congratulations to Carole111 on becoming an Advanced Open Water Diver last Sunday. You've done very well in a relatively short space of time.
You can continue your dive education by joining us on club leisure dives, and by diving when you are on holiday.
In addition you may wish to consider doing the Rescue course. This is a really good course. It's serious but fun at the same time. We have lots of laughs but you would emerge as a much more confident and safer diver. Being a Rescue Diver also gives your buddies a greater comfort zone, and would help you to deal with a difficult situation should one arise. Talk to Archer or Scubaone for details if you are interested. I would also recommend you talk to the many of us who are already Rescue Divers
I hope to see you and John at the club night next Wednesday at the Leasowe Castle from about 8ish.
