I really enjoyed the first dive, but wasn't too sure about the 2nd dive.
Anyway It's done & dusted now, nothing in the rules states I have to dive past 18 mtrs.
Was a fab place though to dive.
Felt pretty rough for 24 hrs after the dive, fell into bed at 5.00pm sunday and slept through til 5.00am monday morning, still a little stiff in the shoulders even now, but a heck of a lot better. Won't be diving today as have papers to get sorted for promotion.
But I will be diving with my buddies on Sunday @ Capernwray, Not the Delph, Not this week.
Jan lost her footing getting ready to drop in the water on second dive, and put her hand out to steady herself, but did the best thing, and jumped in, got the cold (7c) water on it to keep swelling down!
Have to say we were both knackered after that climb back, but was worth the effort, we both enjoyed the day! Should have joined you for a mug of tea, rather than shooting off to watch the footie!
We wont be diving this weekend, The Boss wants a window fitting in the garage.....
BUT AS I TOLD THEM ALL ON SUNDAY, I AM NOT GOING TO DO THE RESCUE DIVER.
NOT YET ANYWAY.
I WANT TO ENJOY MY DIVING NOW, NO PRESSURE (SO TO SPEAK, UNLESS YOU COUNT THE WATER PRESSURE) NO HASSLES, JUST WONDERFUL DIVING, WITH LOVELY PEOPLE, IN SOME NICE PLACES.
THANKS ANTIS, WELL WHAT CAN I SAY, WE ALL HAD TO DO THE NAV, JUST SEE IT AS I TAD MORE EXPERIENCE GAINED PRIOR TO OBTAINING THAT SEEMINGLY ELUSIVE ADVANCED QUALIFICATION. GOOD LUCK.
Congratulations to Victoria on successfully completing the Advanced Open Water Course last Sunday. Well done Victoria. It's great to see you starting the Rescue Course. It will improve your confidence and skills in the water, and you never know when you might need the first aid part of the course , in or out of the water. I hope you enjoy it.
